Black & Brown families deserve to thrive not just to survive.
Black & Brown families deserve to thrive not just to survive.
Sana sana, colita de rana…
A healing rhyme carried across generations and throughout the Latiné diaspora. Words spoken and sung over scraped knees, bruises, and little hurts—a reminder that healing may not happen right away, but you don't have to hurt alone.
I will sing to you. I will hold you. I will rock you. I got you.

WELCOME TO THE HOUSE...
Sana Sana House is a diasporic collective of doulas, birthworkers, care workers, and practitioners bringing our cultures, traditions, professional skills, and lived wisdom to one shared table, dedicated to community birth support.
We believe in village care.
That means we don't always send one doula into a home and call the work finished. Sometimes we're paired. Sometimes we rotate. We share knowledge and resources, offering doula services that enable us to sustainably support our own families and yours.
Because the people doing the caring need a village too.
Our House is unapologetically centered on People of the Global Majority—Black, Brown, Indigenous, and racialized families whose bodies, traditions, knowledge, and experiences have too often been marginalized within Western systems of reproductive health care.
Our doors are open, but our centre is intentional.
We may care for families of many identities and backgrounds. But our work begins within the communities whose needs have too often been pushed to the margins.
You do not need to translate yourself here.
You don't need to explain why your mother is staying for forty days.
Why certain foods matter.
Why your auntie has an opinion.
Why your hair needs tending.
Why prayer matters, or why you need to light the ofrenda.
Why you need somebody to cook the food the way your grandmother made it.
Why birth changed your relationship with your body.
Why you're grieving an abortion you know was the right decision.
Why you're devastated by a pregnancy nobody else knew existed.
Why you're struggling even though everyone keeps telling you that you should be happy.
Bring your whole story.
There is room for it here.
